Prime Minister Edi Rama met yesterday with the US charge d'affaires in Tirana, David Wisner.
"Charge David Wisner met today with Prime Minister Edi Rama to reaffirm the strong bond between the United States and Albania.
They discussed the close partnership of our countries in the United Nations Security Council, especially for Ukraine, as well as the importance of supporting the Albanian youth.
Wisner also thanked the Prime Minister for the extraordinary hospitality that Albania has shown to the Afghans," the Embassy informed.
What caught the eye was that there is also a watermelon at the door of Rama's office.
Socialist MP Erion Braçe also commented on this fact.
"THE WATERMELON ON THE THRONE! Saved the farming season this summer; It deserves to be put on display!", Braçe writes on social networks.
