The murder of the policeman Novruz Cenalia in Fier by Azgan Mërnica was also discussed in the Security Commission.
Deputy Ervin Salianji stated that he strongly condemns this serious event. He said that unfortunately crime has taken revenge in Albania.
After that, Salianji proposed that in honor of the murdered policeman, a minute of silence should be observed. After that, the members of the Security Commission were led on foot and kept silence in honor of the deceased officer.
"We join the pain of the family members of the murdered policeman, but also the pain of his colleagues who lost a young man. We condemn this event with the greatest severity and law enforcement agencies must use the greatest force allowed by law to bring the perpetrator to justice and receive the deserved punishment. We will participate in every tribute, the last one, that has to do with police officers who lose their lives that the crime situation in the country is serious. We must do more to prevent such incidents from happening again .
