The deputy of the Democratic Party, Jorida Tabaku, said that the pension scheme in our country has failed for two reasons. The first is high immigration and the second is informality.
In her speech in Parliament, Tabaku raised several questions: What will the government do for the young people who leave? What measures will be taken for high immigration? How will they be compensated in the pension scheme?
"Pensioners are only indexed with the minimum pension rate. 550 million euros, what does it cost the government to support pensioners, because they are also leftists and are proud of leftist policies.
Today, the failure of the pension scheme as a result of the decisions that were taken with the pension reform in 2015, but on the other hand the failure of the pension scheme as a result of high immigration and informality are clear indicators to see the old problems differently.
What will the government do for young people who leave? What measures will be taken for high immigration? How will they be compensated in the pension scheme? What will be done for those Albanians who are leaving? Because this is a social and economic problem. Today we are in the dilemma of an Albania that is getting poorer, that are leaving and in the dilemma of a budget that is ruining Albanian families", said Tabaku, among other things.
