Prime Minister Edi Rama stated that Mayor Erion Veliaj should be investigated to the end and, according to him, if he has committed corruption, he should go where all those who have committed corruption should go.
Rama also stated that SPAK must also face criticism, as it is not the Vatican and is not infallible. He added that the moment anti-corruption goes off the rails, it becomes even more dangerous than corruption itself.
"When anti-corruption goes off the rails, it can become more dangerous than corruption itself for the state and the psychological well-being of citizens. How come entrepreneurs are taken in and lined up to parade as if they are criminals? It's that easy, these are people who have hundreds and thousands of employees, they support families."
