PD MP Albana Vokshi says that the clash between the Special Court Against Corruption and SPAK for former minister Ilir Beqaj proves once again that SPAK is a political accessory of Edi Rama.
According to her, there is strong evidence for this, that Ilir Beqaj, in addition to abusing his duties, has forged seals, stamps and forms, and for this he risks 7 years in prison.
"The Special Court against Corruption comes out against SPAK for the colossal theft of the former Minister of Health, Edi Rama's friend, Ilir Beqaj. The GJKKO is for a more severe security measure, based on the criminal offenses committed by the former Minister. The Court considers the violations of the former minister more serious than those of Klodian Rrjepajt (former Deputy Minister of Health) and Ilir Rrapajt (businessman).
According to GJKKO, there are doubts, based on the evidence, that Beqaj, in addition to abusing his duties, has forged seals, stamps and forms. For this he risks up to 7 years in prison.
Rrjepaj and Rrapaj have received the security measure of "prison arrest", while their boss and friend, Beqja, only have to present and hand over their passports.
This 'clash' with GJKKO and SPAK proves once again what the Democratic Party has strongly emphasized for many months: SPAK is a political accessory of Edi Rama.
Note the evidence: the friend of the prime minister, Beqja, is comforted by security measures, while his subordinates and associates in crime become "scapegoats".
It is not the first time that SPAK plays Rama's game, condemning those who "release" the Prime Minister and favoring the corrupt of his close circle.
In this case, the damage is twofold: not only financial, stealing hundreds of millions of euros from Albanians, but also health. The lives of thousands of citizens have been put at risk by the corrupt concession of Beqaj sterilizations.
This, as the Court points out, increases the dangerousness of the former minister. It is enough to refer to the KLSH Reports on the sterilization concession for the great damage it has caused since its implementation. Only from illegal VAT payments for sterilization, about 9,000 surgical interventions have been denied to citizens.
In Ilir Beqja, the public should not only see a corrupt minister, but a man who, for his greed and that of the head of the government, is ready to sacrifice the health and lives of innocent Albanians.
The Democratic Party strongly condemns this monstrous connection between the executive power of Edi Rama and the Justice system represented by SPAK.
To go from stealing public property to harming health and lives requires a monster's courage. When justice pretends not to see, and favors thieves and murderers, the injustice is double and unforgivable," she said.
