Injured by the explosion in his warehouse in Lushnje, MP Bujar Çela 'returns' to politics

Bujar Çela, the deputy of Lushnje, who was injured by the explosion in his warehouse on March 1, 2024, has returned to his political activity.

He was present today at the meeting of the SP group.

From the explosion of March 1, 2024, father and son lost their lives, as well as 7 others were injured, among them MP Çela. The latter also underwent surgical intervention. 

The Prosecutor's Office of Fier filed allegations of elements of the criminal offense for 3 charges against the socialist lawmaker, such as construction without permission, violation of rules at work and destruction of property due to carelessness. 

According to recent investigations, the explosion came from an accident during the work process carried out by the victims, father and son Roland and Elidon Hoxha, for cutting and dismantling some iron profiles using the high-heat flame produced by burning and mixing oxygen with acetylene .
