The Investigative Commission for the TIMS system has appointed 4 experts who will assist the work of the commission.
The experts are Dritan Jahaj, lawyer, Vjosa Bodo Mujo, lawyer, Kreshnik Myftari, teacher and Henri Bici, lawyer.
The first meeting of the investigative commission for the treatment of TIMS system data started and ended with a clash between the chairman Ervin Salianji and the socialist vice-chairman Toni Gogu.
Gogu said that this commission should stay on the tracks of the law, refusing to consider the proposal of the democrats to call as a witness, the head of Reestablishment under house arrest, Sali Berisha.
"It is in the honor of this commission and of your integrity that we stay on the tracks of the law. The investigation plan in accordance with the law is proposed by the experts. Of course, we also have the right to propose calling witnesses", said Gogu.
Further, Gogu turned to Salianji, telling him not to become Sali Berisha's judge.
"I understand that in your dream you want to become Berisha's judge, maybe you want to acquit him, but this commission is not active in this. It is not our mission to remove our colleagues from environments where the masses are suffering justice determines. Let's not turn this commission into a joke", declared Gogu.
The SP also rejected the call of Sali Berisha, who is under house arrest, as a witness in this case. It was the deputy Blerina Gjylameti herself who proposed that Berisha be called as a witness, while the chairman of the Commission, Ervin Salianji, accepted it. While today, Gjylameti rejected her proposal and stated that she said it ironically.
The next meeting of the Investigative Commission for the TIMS System is scheduled to take place on Friday, April 12 at 12:00.
