DP MP Dashnor Sula has spoken about the appearance of the mayor of Tirana, Erion Veliaj in SPAK.
He emphasized that the term "untouchables" should not exist. Sula said that the new justice took another very important step today.
He expressed his support for the Special Prosecutor's Office, which, according to him, should not be intimidated by pressures and coded messages.
"Today, the new justice has taken another very important step to remove "untouchables" from the everyday vocabulary. The questioning of the Mayor for many hours about the biggest affair not only in the Balkans but also beyond, that of the incinerators, has strengthened the faith in the new justice system.
At a time when the political pressure on them is very high, we cannot remain indifferent without supporting the Prosecutors of the Special Prosecution to bring the state to the legality tracks. Pressures, coded messages from all fronts should not tempt the guardians of the law to show the country to anyone who violates the law and wastes citizens' taxes", said Sula.
Among other things, Sula said that where there is smoke there is also fire, stressing that Veliaj cannot come out of the incinerator affair with clean hands.
"Where there is smoke there is also fire", says a popular expression. That's why even the mayor of the capital cannot come out with clean hands from the trash affair. If he has become an associate of justice, then let him tell who forced him!", he said.
