Fredi Beleri's brother, Leonardo Beleri, in an interview with the Greek media, has claimed that the government of Edi Rama does not want to lose Himarra because the falsifications with the properties will come to light.
"The government and Mr. Rama personally do not want to lose the municipality of Himara. Because there will be many. They continue to make assignments and falsifications with the parcels. The party continues," Leonardo Beleris told ERT.
He made a special reference to Jorgo Goro's position in his office, who although it was reported that he would leave, he denied that he resigned.
"Mr. Goro can't breathe if he doesn't get permission from Mr. Rama", said Beleri, repeating his brother's suggestion that if he is not the elected mayor himself, then someone else elected from his faction should take the post.
"Unfortunately, we have an unreliable interlocutor", said the brother of the elected mayor, Fredi Beleri, estimating that Goro will remain in his position "as long as Mr. Rama wants".
In fact, he said that the Prime Minister of Albania prefers to sacrifice the future of his people and that Albania does not enter the EU, than to lose the municipality of Heimurra.
He even assessed that his actions are due to the fact that "forgeries are made at the highest level and unfortunately many people must be protected under the umbrella of Mr. Rama".
