Former Prime Minister Sali Berisha has commented on the decision of the Supreme Court to return the issue of the seal and logo of the Democratic Party to Appeal.
In a statement to journalists, Berisha said that this court did not live up to its mission.
"The Supreme Court did not rise to the height of its mission to overturn the decision of the Appeal. The decision of the first instance is currently in force, as the Supreme Court did not take it for retrial at the first instance, but to the Appeal. Taking a disciplining stance, she asks that it not be her. It is a wrong decision. In my opinion, the Supreme Court could not take any other decision than the final recognition of the Court of Fact. It was scandalous. Did you see the protest today? It's the beginning of the showdown. I guarantee you that there is a will, and revolt among the democrats. This party fights for the reestablishment of pluralism", said Berisha.
