The General Secretary of the Democratic Party, Enkelejd Alibeaj, during his speech at the presentation of the electoral program for the 2025 elections, said that DP will strongly support SPAK even after coming to power.
He added that PD plans to remove the MP's immunity in case of confrontation with SPAK.
"We will wage a horizontal war against corruption and the corrupt in every branch of public power, placing human resources and the appropriate tools at our disposal. SPAK will not be left alone, nor will it be the only one. Judges and the judiciary will be protected at all costs from attacks.
Through the criminal and anti-mafia law, we will clean up the public sector, bring forward the responsibility of every corrupt official and former official and demand the confiscation of their assets.
DP offers support to SPAK with financial and human resources, total removal of the immunity of deputies to pave the way for a full investigation by SPAK" , said Alibeaj.
He promised that upon coming to power, PD will start verifying the legality of every public procurement, PPP or concession. Alibeaj added that the company caught in violation will be excluded from public service for 20 years.
"Verification of the anti-mafia law for concession contracts, PPPs, strategic partnerships. We aim to liberate the economy, recover public money and restore public trust. To achieve this goal, we will engage in the verification of concession contracts, PPPs, public procurement, any corrupt contract will be cancelled. The company found in violation will be excluded from public service for 20 years ," he added.
