Democratic Party leader Sali Berisha has called on Albanians in the diaspora to register for the May 11 elections.
Berisha is asking Albanian immigrants to vote to overthrow the 12 years of the Rama government. According to him, the prices of food and medicine in Albania have seen stratospheric increases.

In 2013, when I handed over power, this 1 euro currency was exchanged for 140 lekë.
Today, after 11 years, this currency is exchanged in Albania for 98 lekë.
Drug money and massive money laundering in Albania have brought the European currency to the ground.
But it has also severely punished your remittances, such precious, so vital aid for your family members.
In addition, over the past 11 years, food and medicine prices in Albania have experienced stratospheric increases.
They are, according to Eurostat, 10 to 250 percent more expensive than in the main EU countries.
And this is a real disaster for your parents.
Therefore, your vote in these elections is of vital importance for the salvation of your parents, your family, but also of your country.
So from the bottom of my heart, I urge you to register on the CEC portal, on the DP portal, the latter will automatically give you instructions that will guide you on how to use the CEC portal.
"I invite you to access the link so that you can all vote on May 11 to save Albania from the great evils that Edi Rama has done to this country in these 12 years of his governance ," said Berisha.
