The political leader of Fier District, Taulant Balla, held a meeting with local representatives of PS Fier. Balla has commented on the voting process for the representative delegates of the Fier Socialist Party who will represent this District in the Congress of this party in Tirana.
According to Balla, so far the process has gone well, while the gender representation is seen as a novelty, where men and women will each have 50 percent of the delegates. While another innovation according to him will be the representation of as many young people as possible.
Fieri will be represented by 140 delegates and is the second district with the largest number of representatives.
"The process of re-energizing the Socialist Party has now entered its most important phase, since at the moment the SP members are called to vote for delegates. Fier County is one of the largest counties, certainly after Tirana. The voting process will last till 19:00 and will reopen tomorrow at 08:00.
At the end of this process we will have representatives. The process has gone very well, surprised by the participation so far. I am sure that we will have a high turnout tomorrow as well. This is a test for our party structure, before September when the engines are started for next year's elections", said Minister Balla.
