Occupying public spaces, Rama issues a stern order to businesses: Remove tables

After meetings inside the Vlora Municipality, Rama inspected the historic 'Muradie' neighborhood. Rama is heard demanding the vacating of public spaces, giving orders for the removal of tables and chairs.

In recent days, Rama has increased criticism and warned of measures if public spaces in Vlora and other cities are not vacated.

Meanwhile, the Vlora municipality's action to free public spaces has been carried out with intensity even during the night. As can be seen from the footage provided, the coastal promenade "Lungomare" has become the epicenter of this operation, where a significant presence of officials and leaders of the Vlora Municipality can be observed.

Just a few hours ago, on Sunday, the mayor of the municipality, Ermal Dredha, issued a stern warning to all private entities that have occupied public spaces. He declared that there will be no more tolerance for businesses that impede the free movement of citizens, especially in areas designated for pedestrians.

From the ground it is clear that the action is not limited to daytime hours, but is continuing at a high pace even at night, lasting until the early hours of the morning. This operation, according to the Municipality of Vlora, aims to return to the city and its residents public spaces that have been usurped for years, especially along the coast, which is massively frequented by local and foreign vacationers during the summer season.
