Autumn is expected to bring high temperatures among the Democrats, while it seems that the debate about Sali Berisha's departure after the catastrophic failure in the May 11 elections seems to have ended without a good start.
With the exception of a few voices that appeared in the media and demanded Berisha's resignation, using a clause in the DP statute, baptized with the name 'Neni Basha', all those who were considered part of the currents or factions in this party, rushed to declare that the former prime minister had no reason to resign.
And as long as the entire DP leadership, including those who received mandates on May 11, consider the process stolen and manipulated by Edi Rama, not recognizing the result, they have no way of holding Berisha responsible for the biggest failure since 1997.
But what is expected to happen are changes in positions under Berisha, starting with the Secretary General, the vice-chairs, the head of the parliamentary group, the party Secretariat, the chairmanship of the Parliamentary Group, the leader of the LDG.

Internal sources in the DP have learned that in the reorganization of this political force, there may be a division between positions in the Parliamentary Group and those in the party, or between the honorary position as Deputy Speaker of the Assembly and those in the party.
Until now, it has been stated that the Head of the Parliamentary Group and the Deputy Speaker of the Assembly were automatically deputy speakers of the DP, which seems likely to be separated, or there will be an increase in the number of deputy speakers in the party structure, bringing the number to 4 from the current 2. This would create greater space to appoint or elect names to certain positions, aiming to maintain balance between the groups in the DP, even though the composition of the parliamentary group has shattered almost every faction.
There are several names as candidates for the head of the Parliamentary Group, while Gazment Bardhi may be moved, thus leaving aside the idea of 'unity in diversity'.
Kandidatura të mundshme për të marrë drejtimin e Grupit Parlamentar të PD-së janë Oerd Bylykbashi, Luçiano Boçi. Por një kandidaturë që mund të garojë është Jorida Tabaku, e vetmja ndër emrat e listës së hapur të PD-së për Qarkun e Tiranës, që mori mandatin.
Në lojën për kreun e Grupit Parlamentar mund të hyjë edhe Flamur Noka, edhe pse ka pak shanse. Ky i fundit, i cili mban postin e Sekretarit të Përgjithshëm të PD-së, mund të lerë këtë pozicion, duke i hapur rrugën një tjetër gare për strukturën drejtuese.
Ervin Salianji, ish-deputeti që prej tetorit të 2024 ndodhet në burgun e Fierit me një vendim të Gjykatës së Apelit që e dënoi me 1 vit heqje lirie, mund të jetë emri surprizë që Sali Berisha ta vendosë si numrin 2 të PD-së. Berisha ka deklaruar publikisht se Salianji do të ketë një rol luftarak në PD dhe ndoshta edhe për faktin se dënimi i tij është trajtuar si ‘politik’, ai mund të rikthehet në politikën aktive si Sekretari i Përgjithshëm i PD-së.
Të njëjtin pozicion mund ta lakmojnë edhe Belind Këlliçi, megjithëse ky i fundit në 11 maj, si drejtues politik i Qarkut Tiranë, korri ndër rezultatet më të dobëta të PD-së në zgjedhjet parlamentare. Dhe po kështu Tomorr Alizoti, i cili ishte drejtues politik në Qarkun e Elbasanit, mund të synojë këtë post, që pas Kryetarit, është më i rëndësishmi në kupolën drejtuese të PD-së.
Albana Vokshi pritet të tërhiqet si drejtuese e LDG, duke hapur një garë për kreun e forumit të gruas demokrate, që prej të paktën 13 vitesh nuk zhvillon zgjedhje dhe pozicioni mbahet nga deputetja, që u pozicionua që në fillim në krah të Berishës, kur ai nisi luftën dhe përplasjet me Lulzim Bashën.
Vokshi gjithsesi mund të hyjë në një garë për një nga pozicionet e nënkryetarëve të PD-së, ku gjithashtu si alternativa shihen edhe Jozefina Topalli, e cila ka mbajtur këtë pozicion partiak për të paktën 8 vite në PD, por edhe Jorida Tabaku, e cila nëse nuk përfshihet për kryetare e Grupit Parlamentar mund të ketë aksesin për pozicionin partiak. Dhe gjithashtu Dhurata Çupi, e cila nuk arriti të marrë një mandat deputeti në 11 maj, mund të jetë pjesë e garave të brendshme në PD, përfshi edhe kreun e LDG-së.
Tirana gjithashtu pritet të ketë një tjetër ri-organizim, ku krahas drejtuesve të 16 degëve, pritet të vendoset një kryetar ose koordinator, i cili do të ketë rolin e organizatori. Për këtë pozicion mund të përfshihen nga Klevis Balliu te Ilir Alimehmeti dhe Besart Xhaferri. Ky i fundit mban funksionin e kreut të FRPD-së, pozicion që i dha mundësinë të garojë në listën e mbyllur të PD-së së Tiranës, dhe ndoshta mund të lerë drejtimin e forumit rinor, për të hapur një tjetër garë në rradhët e demokratëve.
Dhe në fund mbeten postet e Sekretarëve, që pavarësisht se nuk kanë ndonjë peshë, në momente të caktuata zhvillimesh e përplasjesh janë përcaktues. Dhe ndër këto pozicione më delikati është Sekretari Organizativ, që zotëron çdo të dhënë mbi data bazën e partisë, përfshirë anëtarësinë dhe delegatët e Kuvendit Kombëtar.
