Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky has congratulated Albanian Prime Minister Edi Rama on his victory in the May 11 parliamentary elections.
Through a message published on social networks, the Ukrainian head of state congratulated the Socialist Party for the convincing result, while expressing gratitude for Albania's support for the Ukrainian cause.
" Congratulations to @ediramaal and the Socialist Party for the convincing victory in the elections. I wish you success in serving the Albanian people. We appreciate your clear and unwavering stance on the need for lasting peace for Ukraine, which can be achieved through a complete and unconditional ceasefire."
"I look forward to the further strengthening of friendly relations between our countries for the benefit of both our nations ," the Ukrainian president's message reads.
