Fourth mandate of the SP, Gjergj Zefi: Rama does not take it to the end, aims

The editor of Pamflet, Gjergj Zefi, said in the podcast 'Të Pashoq' that Sali Berisha will not achieve anything with the May 16 protest. Zefi said that even the fourth mandate he won, Edi Rama has not taken the time to complete it. Zefi warned that with this qualified majority, Rama intends to make changes to turn the country into a Presidential Republic and for him to be President.

Will the OSCE ODIHR preliminary report produce anything?

The fact that it is the most striking of all the other precedents shows that things will be on the table.

I believe you followed the reaction of Donald Trump's strategist, Chris Lacivita, who was involved in the DP campaign. He made a reaction that the votes were stolen and that's it...

It seems to me like folklore, they brought it just for the name. Here we have a different reality, we don't have the reality that Albania has.

What does Berisha expect from the lobbying contract, the famous $6 million?

Sali Berisha has lost about 20 elections, what will he win next? It was the last attempt to regain the leadership of the DP, who needs to do some business, these people win by losing. If you look at all the elements of the tenders, they go to the same hands. They are winning even by losing.

What do you think about the May 16 protest?

I don't believe he will succeed in doing anything in this protest. I don't think it's the right way to achieve anything.

Will the supporters follow this time?

But who will follow him? Those 50 MPs? Even those who voted for him will not come back, because they will say, "Look where you took the DP." Edi Rama has been prime minister for 16 years, he has not left any wealth without giving it to his people.

Is there any way to defeat Edi Rama?

Not that Edi Rama is invincible, but 'David' was missing and we have Goliath.

A man is needed to take on all this hatred. But I think that Edi Rama has won also because of the hatred of the people. They thought we should vote for him so that he can break his neck, because oppression breaks as it grows.

The leader of the opposition should not be a monster. I think that better than Berisha, everyone is there, except for the puppet figures who have become memes everywhere. Despite the lack of experience, Ilir Alimehmeti, Tabaku can take on the task of reviving a party. This party cannot be built on old flour, it must open up to values, to knowledgeable people. Which of those on the closed list understands political doctrines.

Are you saying that this 4th term won't end?

Edi Rama has received the mandate to see it through to the end. He is prepared to change the Constitution, to make Albania a Presidential Republic. He prepared this situation by showing us that the next Prime Minister will be a woman. He wants to be President, he has this idea, whether it will happen or not is another matter. It cannot be a normal mandate, we have a qualified majority.

Merkel, who was one of the most popular figures in recent politics, co-governed.

I consider it a Pyrrhic victory.
