The former candidate for the new head of the Democratic Party, Gjergji Hani, spoke a few days after the elections, who said that there was not an honest and open competition in the PD tradition.
According to Hani, the elections within the Democrats have always been predetermined and many members have silently accepted these decisions for years.
"It was an expected result of the elections for the head of the DP. It has not been in the traditions of the Democratic Party an honest open competition, it has always been predetermined. A part of the democrats have accepted these decisions by closing their noses. For me it was a moral uprising, they have lost their identity", Hani told A2 CNN.
Gjergji Hani also stated that he did not have equal conditions to compete against Basha, whom he blames for the loss of the Democratic Party's identity.
"I failed to organize meetings. They are organized by the structure that makes the campaign. The structures were one-sided. It is a normal work practice. When you serve a person for 12 years, an empath creates a spiritual bond. They did what they knew how to do best. I knew. I did not enter the race to legitimize Basha. I hold Basha responsible for the loss of the DP's identity and losses for 10 consecutive years in front of Rama", Gjergji Hani concluded.
