MP Ina Zhupa was the first MP to take the floor, speaking about the case where former European Commission Vice-President Federica Mogherini was one of three people arrested by Belgian police on Tuesday, in a wide-ranging investigation into fraud over the funding of an academy in Bruges for young diplomats.
"Today everyone understood what we mean by European standards. I am in a dilemma, whether these people are corrupt and choose to cooperate in Albania because they find friends or if they come and then you, who are masters of corruption, master them here."
The Albanian government has abolished the decision no. 1, dated 29.05.2013 of the KKRT for the construction of a university campus that would serve Albanian students and teachers to have dignified conditions. You abolished it and gave it to Mogherini for the College of Europe, gave the buildings of the Student City and cost you 17 million euros in citizens' taxes.
"When the young people of the FRPD protested about the conditions in education, you told them they were against Europe. In fact, they were against corruption and against the Mogherini models," said Zhupa.
