Bus with students in Kosovo has an accident, 12 children are injured

An accident was recorded on the Pejë-Mitrovica road, near the village of Gurracok.

A car and a bus were involved in the accident, it is reported that 12 students were injured. The drivers of the two vehicles were also injured.

The spokesperson of the Police for the region of Peja, Fadil Gashi, said that the injured were sent to the hospital for medical treatment and then sent home, while one of the students continues to receive medical treatment.

"Today around 1:07 p.m. the police was notified of an accident on the Pejë - Mitrovica highway, specifically in the village of Gurrakoc. The police immediately went to the scene and found that two vehicles, a car and a school bus were involved in the accident. From this accident, 14 people were injured, 12 of them students and the two vehicle drivers", added Gashi.
