An alarm was given at the Clinic of Pathology at KKUK, as an explosive device is suspected.
The case was confirmed by the spokesperson of the Kosovo Police for the Prishtina region, Agron Borovci.
" About 14:00, information was received about a suspicious device, suspected to be an explosive device, in the pathology clinic, respectively the pre-clinical institute ", Borovci stated.
He said that the specialized teams of the Kosovo Police for the management of explosive devices were also invited to the scene, who are currently continuing their work until the perimeter secured by the police is completely cleared.
But then the Clinical University Hospital Service of Kosovo reacted, stating that the explosive devices are from the pre-war period.
" Immediately after receiving the information, the police went to the scene and took all the necessary actions to ensure against the risk of an eventual explosion, evacuating the surrounding personnel and securing the necessary perimeter. The specialized teams of the Kosovo Police for the management of explosive devices were also invited to the scene. The tools are suspected to be from the pre-war period and were found during the inventory of the inventory by the Chamber of Physicians ", says the SHSKUK announcement.
