Shaip Kamberi: The Albanians of the Valley refuse compulsory military service in Serbia

The Albanians of the Presheva Valley should reject the mandatory military service in Serbia, said the only Albanian deputy in the Serbian Parliament, Shaip Kamberi.

Commenting on the warning of the authorities in Serbia about mandatory military service, Kamberi said that these are unacceptable.

"Warnings about mandatory military service in Serbia, even though it is a strategic marketing move by President Aleksandar Vucic, is unacceptable and should be rejected by the Albanians of the Presheva Valley ," he wrote on Facebook.

Kamberi added that Serbia is not threatened by neighboring countries. According to him, the case of September 24 in Banjska in Zvečani has even shown the violation of the integrity of Serbia's neighboring countries and who is targeting the aggressor.

"The region needs peace and progress, otherwise such warmongering decisions will only bring us back to the 90s", he concluded.
