The Serbian politician from Vojvodina, Nenad Çanak, has reacted regarding the agreement that Kosovo can reach with the USA for the purchase of anti-tank missile systems, "Javelin".
Through a post on the "X" network, he shared a photo holding a Javelin, which he learned to use when he was in Kiev.
The politician emphasized that when the missiles arrive in Kosovo, then many things will change, referring to the military power and advantage of the Javelin.
"In Ukraine, I had the opportunity to see what the tank looks like after the meeting with the Javelin. And I had the opportunity to learn how to use it. User training can be done in half an hour. If (when?) "Javelin' arrives in Pristina, many things will change now", he wrote.
Javelin” is a man-portable, medium-range tactical missile system that provides the US Army and Marine Corps with precise direct fire effects to defeat opposing tanks and other armored vehicles.
After launch, the missile travels with high precision to the target, while soldiers can immediately reposition and manually load it for the next shot.
A Javelin missile costs about 180 thousand dollars, the US Army has 38 thousand of them.
The missile is capable of reaching speeds of up to 540 km/h after launch.
