The Prime Minister of Kosovo, Albin Kurti, together with the Director of the Kosovo Police, Gazmend Hoxha, went to the home of the policeman Afrim Bunjaku, who was killed during a gun attack this morning, for consolation.
"We can't turn back time, the house is full and you already have us too", Kurti addressed the family members.
The Kosovo Police officer, Afrim Bunjaku, was killed in the early hours of Sunday in the village of Banjské, in the north of Kosovo, while two others were injured.
Albin Kurti called the attack terrorist, saying that the crime was organized with political, financial and logistical support from official Belgrade, which is attacking Kosovo.
The police are carrying out strict checks in Banjska i Zveçani, where the situation remains tense. On the side of the attackers, 3 were killed, while two of them were injured. While 5 of the attackers have been arrested.
Also, the Special Unit of the Kosovo Police entered the Banjska Monastery, where the armed Serbian criminal group was located together with dozens of pilgrims.
