The leader of the Social Democratic Party, Dardan Molliqaj, husband of the former Minister of Education in the "Rama" government, Besa Shahini, has been arrested by Kosovo police.
As announced by the Kosovo PSD, the Kosovo Police Rapid Reaction Unit arrested Molliqaj today, while he was on his way to a meeting. They consider this arrest to be completely beyond any rationality.
" Since he has not even received an invitation from the court and at the same time is in his daily routine and can be easily found, this behavior cannot be read otherwise than as political pressure and a demonstration of force by a unit created for emergency and dangerous situations, not to stop the political opposition," it is stated, among other things, in their reaction on the social network "Facebook".

This arrest is completely beyond any rationality. Since he has not even received a summons from the court and at the same time is in his daily routine and can be easily found, this behavior cannot be read otherwise than as political pressure and a demonstration of force by a unit created for emergency and dangerous situations, not to stop the political opposition.
The priority and zeal with which PSD members have been placed for "case review" leaves doubts that this is happening intentionally, since they have a large number of cases together with VV members, it seems that the attack is mainly against PSD.
Such arrests do not stop us, they only make it clearer for everyone who is afraid of political organization.
We demand the immediate release of Dardan Molliqaj.
