The session for the constitution of the new Kosovo Assembly failed again today. The session failed because the report on the verification of mandates was not put to a vote.
Today's session was a continuation of Tuesday's session, where the report on the verification of deputies' mandates failed to be voted on. The next session will be held on April 19, at 12:00.
The chairman of the session, elected LVV MP Avni Dehari, said that "there was no consensus" in the consultations he called in advance with representatives of political parties.
"The meeting revealed their current positions. There were representatives who abandoned the consultation. Unfortunately, there was no consensus. The session will continue within 48 hours, at 12:00 on April 19, 2025, with the hope that by then there will be agreement ," he said.
"Thank you all and see you soon," added Dehari, as the deputies began to leave the main hall of the Assembly.
Before the session was adjourned, 100 deputies were present in the hall.
