Two days ago, Podujeva was shocked by the murder of 18-year-old Lulzim Fejzullahu, in Kosovo, by two other boys. Recently, new details have come to light, where the lawyer, Meshari Selimaj, has also spoken, who has stated that his murder should be classified as aggravated murder, according to the provisions of the criminal code, based on the fact that he collided first with a car, then he was hit with iron bars.
Explaining the articles of the criminal code, he said that prosecutors and judges should keep in mind when they raise charges, that serious murder is defined as murder in a cruel and cunning manner, the same as that of an 18-year-old.
He also said that serious murder is also considered when, after the perpetrators have attacked the victim badly, they leave him at the scene and leave without being interested in his condition, which according to him also happened in the murder of the 18-year-old in Kosovo.
"It is the provision of our penal code, murder in a cruel and cunning manner. Lawmakers watched as the victim was beaten and left outside for hours. According to the criminal code, cruel murder is when the attackers, after hitting the victim hard, leave him in place. So without knowing whether he will be mentioned or not. It will stay for an hour, 2 hours, or all night. The juvenile procedure is a very fast procedure. Statements should be taken quickly and the case should be taken to trial," said the lawyer.
