A serious incident occurred this afternoon in Peja, where two people were found without signs of life inside a villa on "KFOR" street.
According to reports, one of the victims is Endrit Lajqi, and with him was a woman, aged 20 to 25. According to preliminary information, the young people had entered the villa since the evening of 29.12.2025, but since then no sound had been heard from inside.
The Basic Prosecution Office of Peja has also reacted to the event, through its spokesperson, Shkodran Nikçi.
He said that evidence was obtained at the scene that will serve for further investigative actions, and witnesses were identified.
"Upon receiving the information, the Kosovo Police went to the scene and found the two young men, with no signs of life.
The Chief Prosecutor of the Basic Prosecution of Peja and the Prosecutor of Serious Crimes went to the scene of the incident and all actions were taken at the scene, securing evidence that will serve in further actions.
"The autopsy, which will be conducted by the Forensic Medicine Department, is expected to shed light on the cause of death. Due to the sensitivity of the case, no further details can be provided," he said.
Meanwhile, it is reported that people suspected of having knowledge of the incident are being questioned.
