
The Prime Minister of North Macedonia, Hristijan Mickoski, today hosted the Prime Minister of Kosovo, Albin Kurti.
After the Mickoski-Kurti meeting, a joint press conference was held where Mickoski said that the economic ties with Kosovo will be strengthened and that we will work closely to build new roads, taking as an example the Skopje-Bllacë and Tetovo-Prizren roads.
Mickoski said "As a new government, we aim to build sound bilateral relations. We have agreed to increase communication but also joint trade. We talked about the road Bllacë-Shkop, but also about the connection between Tetova and Prizren," said Mickoski, among other things.
Mickoski also commented on the events with the president of Kosovo, Vjosa Osmani, saying that commercial trips are the same for him as prime minister but also for other state officials of the country and other states. "We are sorry that such a thing happened. I expect that next time, Osmani will inform me about her trip, even a private one, so that I can go to the airport and wait for her in a friendly way," added Mickoski. He added that the conduct of security at the international airport of Skopje, Macedonia will be resolved with local institutions.
The Kosovar delegation is composed of the Prime Minister of Kosovo, Albin Kurti, the Minister of Foreign Affairs, Donika Gërvalla, the Minister of Justice, Albulena Haxhiu and the Minister of Infrastructure, Liburn Aliu.
