The rift between the Prime Minister of Kosovo, Albin Kurti and Presiodentes Vjosa Osmani, is getting more and more distinct. Although two days ago a diplomatic incident involving President Osmani was recorded at the Skopje airport, Kurti has decided that he will visit North Macedonia at the beginning of next week.
According to sources, on Monday 05.08.2024 the Prime Minister of Kosovo will meet his counterpart from North Macedonia, Prime Minister Hristjan Mickoski.
As it is learned, the meeting will be held at 10:00 a.m. where some other members of the government of North Macedonia from the VLEN coalition will also participate.
According to information, the Foreign Minister of Kosovo, Donika Gërvalla-Schwarz, will also be part of this meeting.
This visit takes place at the time when Kosovo has sent a note of protest to North Macedonia due to the incident that happened at the Skopje airport with the President of Kosovo, Vjosa Osmani, when the airport police asked the latter to hand over her handbag and cell phone for control, after which a fight ensued between the President's security and those of the airport.
