The Special Prosecutor's Office of the Republic of Kosovo said that after several months of investigations, this Saturday, in cooperation with the Kosovo Police - War Crimes Directorate, as well as in coordination with the security institutions and the competent court, it led an action, which has resulted in the arrest and detention of five (5) persons suspected of the criminal offense "War Crimes", from Article 142 related to Article 22 of the LP of the RSFJ.
As part of this action, by order of the Special Prosecutor, the persons with the initials: DC, DN, NS, SJ, M.Sh., with reasonable suspicion of cooperation with other unidentified members of this group, armed and dressed in camouflage uniforms and non-regular uniforms of the Serbian police or army, on 05.04.1999, in the early hours of the morning, they had undertaken an action in the villages of Inatoc (Kokaj), Llovcë, Pogragë and Uglar, where with the purpose and deliberately killed, injured, burned alive the Albanian civilian victims, took hostages, raped, beat, tortured physically and mentally, looted, destroyed the properties of Albanians and burned them, expelled the Albanian civilian population, destroyed and abused cultural and religious objects, actions sanctioned according to local laws, customs of war and International Geneva Conventions and Additional Protocols.
