Vučić's threats, expert: Signs that Serbia is preparing for war in Kosovo

Security expert, Ilir Kulla, has stated that Serbia is preparing for a conflict in the Balkans and, according to him, this is also shown by its military preparations.

Kulla made the comments in Euronews Albania, where he commented on the statements of Prime Minister Albin Kurti, who said that he saw that Serbian forces were approaching the border with Kosovo.

Kulla said that there are more than 40 Serbian military centers on the borders with Kosovo, which, according to him, are not there for peace, but for a possible conflict.

He also said that the successor political class of the one that waged the wars of the 90s is in power in Serbia.

"There are over 40 Serbian military centers on the borders of Kosovo and they are not there to promote peace. The reaction of Kosovo is clear, there is a political and military reaction. Kosovo is armed with Javelin and other weapons. Training has increased. But Serbia is the only regional power that has armed itself in a real way.

Serbian factories have increased production, even with the background of what is happening in Ukraine. The president of Serbia himself has said that with the technology they have introduced for drones, they have entered the new generation of armaments. They also bought missiles from China. Serbia has done all these things in 10 years. It is clear that Serbia is preparing for a possible conflict.

The Serbs, since the establishment of the Serbian state, have tried to be a regional military power and in this form have supported Serbian nationalism. This was also the reason why the first world war started, if you remember.

It is more or less similar to what happens in Kosovo, where a Serbian political organization has taken it upon itself to unilaterally start the conflict, as with the events in Banjska. The political class that is in Serbia today is the heir of the political class that fought the wars of the 90s", said Kulla.
