The member of the Presidency of the Vetëvendosje Movement, Dejona Mihali, has reacted strongly after the statement of the Prime Minister Edi Rama, who said that KFOR should take control of the north of the country, after Sunday's terrorist attack on the Kosovo Police.
Mihali has said that Kosovo has never asked KFOR to take over the control in the north and will not do it, until he said that Rama's silence for a few days would be the greatest help given to Kosovo.
According to Mihal, "only Serbia wants this".
"Perhaps the silence of the Prime Minister of Albania for a few days would be the greatest help, in these moments, given to Kosovo. Likewise, Kosovo has never asked for KFOR to take control in the north. Nor will he do it. Every little child knows this. Only Serbia demands this. The government of Kosovo has requested in the last year mainly the increase of NATO troops in Kosovo referring to the threat and continuous acts of aggression by the army of Serbia on the border with Kosovo", wrote Mihali.
Rama said at today's media conference that KFOR should take control of the north of Kosovo, a proposal he said he made earlier at the NATO summit. He pointed out that he has warned of the escalation of events and emphasized that we should not wait any longer to act.
"This deserves and is expected to be heard by the whole region, which has suffered a lot in its history from the degradations of hajvalek. This story could escalate into armed clashes for years. I have warned for a long time about the possibility of confusion of this tragic and unfortunate scenario in the north of Kosovo, either at this table or at other higher tables. Not that I am wiser than others, or that I read the future, but simply that I am not preoccupied with the troubles of the whole world, as the great ones of this world are, or I am not locked in the entanglements of the past, the leaders of Kosovo and Serbia. At this second I seem to see the bullets of the brave on my social media pages. I am used to the media club in Albania and those in Kosovo as Vucic's brother. Those in Kosovo make me a ball. I honestly understand them without any problem. While others, those who do political and media business in Tirana with the fingernails of the crises in the North of Kosovo, of disgust. Rest assured that none of this and none of this change my vision. Everything can end in bloodshed and war. What about now? What should be expected next? What should be avoided, and what should be made possible. I hope that the explosions in the North of Kosovo do not turn it into a Donbas. The dialogue between the two countries was to be established in an interregional conference. Today, basically the format of Brussels, where two men come from here, two men enter and leave there, there is nothing left to offer peace in this new situation. Along with the stock of all agreements, not implemented, it can bring away a stock of victims of an armed conflict. KFOR must take control of the north of Kosovo.
