The Assistant Director of the so-called Office for Kosovo in the Government of Serbia, Igor Popovic, was arrested on Friday by the Police at the border crossing in Brnjak after he had given a speech against the Kosovo Liberation Army in Hoca e Madhe, Rahovec during the day.
Popovic had described the KLA as a terrorist organization and compared its actions to what is happening in Gaza, during a speech given at the ceremony commemorating Serbian victims in the municipality of Rahovec.
Also, in this statement, he accused international institutions of failing in justice, claiming that the perpetrators of crimes against Serbs have never been punished.
Following his arrest, sources for "Gazeta Express" stated that it is expected that Popovic will be expelled from Kosovo and banned from entering the territory of Kosovo.
"After the case was declared by the security and intelligence institutions, he has now been arrested by the KP and will be expelled from Kosovo and will be banned from entering Kosovo ," sources told "Gazeta Express".
