The authorities in Kosovo have raised the alarm about possible new attacks in the north of Kosovo. Prime Minister Albin Kurti said that Millan Radoicic, former vice-president of the Serbian List, who took responsibility for the attack in Banjska, is preparing new attacks on Kosovo together with the group that carried out the attack on September 24 where a Kosovo policeman was killed and then three attackers.
In a conference at the weekend, based on information from Kosovar intelligence, Kurti mentioned several locations in Serbia, where the group, according to him, is conducting training, including Serbian military training grounds. The claims of the Prime Minister of Kosovo were immediately rejected by the Serbian Ministry of Defense. The Kosovar Prime Minister did not provide evidence, but according to Kurti, "Milan Radoicic holds regular meetings with Serbian intelligence and that the members of his group are paid 2,000 euros per month."

"The announcement of the order for the attack in Banjska was given in the premises of the company Novi Pazar Put, owned by Zvonko and Zharko Vesselinovic, who were business partners of Radocic. After the terrorist attack, Millan Radoicic was released by the Serbian court in record time. He is now continuing the preparations for other attacks in Kosovo, together with some members of the terrorist organization Civil Defense", said Prime Minister Kurti. Revealing data, the Kosovar Prime Minister said that "Radoicic is holding regular meetings with senior officials of the Serbian intelligence (BIA).
"The premises of the firm, Jabllanovica in Raskë, like those of Novi Pazar Put, are being used for housing and storing vehicles and explosive devices for future attacks by Radoicic and his group. "Actually, this building houses some members of the 'Civil Defense', who carry out surveillance in the territory of Kosovo," Kurti said. He also mentioned a training ground of the Serbian army in Peshter, where, according to him, the exercises of a group of 60 "Civil Defense" people, who according to Kurt "participated in the attack in Banjska" have resumed. "Civil Defense" and "North Brigade", two organizations of northern Serbs in Kosovo are considered terrorist organizations.
"This group had planned attacks on our Police after the end of the elections in Serbia in the border locations connected to the illegal alternative routes," said Kurti. According to him, Kosovo, in cooperation with international partners, is prepared to repel such attacks.

Sipas të dhënave të Ministrisë së Brendshme të Kosovës, që nga viti 2021 e deri më tash, “Policia e Kosovës ka qenë cak i 114 sulmeve në veri”, kryesisht të kryera nga grupi, që kreu sulmin në Banjskë të Zveҫanit.
Menjëherë pas këtyre deklarimeve të kryeministrit Kurti, Ministria e Mbrojtjes së Serbisë, mohoi këto akuza duke i quajtur madje “absurde”. “Është gënjeshtër dhe absurditet i plotë që terrenet stërvitore të Forcave të Armatosura të Serbisë po përdoren për stërvitjet e ndonjë njësie, me përjashtim të njësive të Forcave të Armatosura të Serbisë dhe herë pas here edhe të Ministrisë së Punëve të Brendshme”, tha Ministria Serbe e Mbrojtjes, duke hedhur poshtë po ashtu se “ka plane për sulme në territorin e Kosovës”.
Shtimi i prezencës së NATO-s pas sulmit të 24 shtatorit në Kosovë
Sulmi i 24 shtatorit në Banjskë të veriut të Kosovës është cilësuar si më i rëndi që nga shpallja e pavarësië së Kosovës, duke ngritur edhe shqetësimin faktorit ndërkombëtar për stabilitet në vend. Sekretari i Përgjithshëm i NATO-s, Jens Stoltenberg, në konferencën e tij të fundivitit tha, se “ruajtja e një mjedisi paqësor dhe të sigurt në Kosovë është çelësi për stabilitetin e rajonit më të gjerë të Ballkanit Perëndimor.
”Në këtë periudhë të vitit, falënderimet dhe respekti im më i thellë shkon për forcat tona të NATO-s. Pa ju nuk do të kishte NATO, nuk do të kishte siguri dhe nuk do të kishte liri. Shërbimi i tyre na mban pa rreziqe, të sigurt dhe të lirë”, tha Stoltenberg. Aleanca veriatlantike, këtë vit dërgoi qindra trupa shtesë duke e rritur numrin në 4600 trupa. Rritja e numrit të ushtarëve u bë pas trazirave në veri pas vendosjes së kryetarëve shqiptarë në katër komunat me shumicë serbe, ku serbët lokalë plagosën dhjetëra ushtarë të KFOR-it si dhe pas sulmit në Banjskë më 24 shtator, ku grupe serbësh të armatosur sulmuan policinë e Kosovës, duke vrarë një polic.
Thirrje për heqjen e masave ndëshkuese
Sidoqoftë, udhëheqësit e Kosovës i bënë thirrje Bashkimit Evropian që të heqë masat ndëshkuese ndaj Kosovës dhe të ndëshkojë Serbinë për siç thonë “veprime armiqësore ndaj Kosovës dhe largim nga marrëveshja për normalizimin e marrëdhënieve ndërmjet të dyja vendeve”.
Presidentja e Kosovës, Vjosa Osmani, ka thënë se “masat e vendosura nga Bashkimi Evropian pas tensioneve të fundit ishin të padrejta”. “Ato që janë kërkuar nga Kosova për atë që e quanin depërshkallëzim, tashmë kanë ndodhur dhe masat është dashur të hiqeshin tashmë, sepse, janë masa që në mënyrë të padrejtë ndikojnë negativisht në jetën e qytetarëve tanë për shkak të projekteve që janë bllokuar, të cilat kryesisht u dedikohen komunave”, thotë Presidentja Osmani.

Kurti expressed the hope that "the European Union and the United States will impose sanctions on Serbia, for its hostile and aggressive behavior and actions towards Kosovo, and for renouncing the agreement on the normalization of relations".
The agreement reached in Ohr with the mediation of the EU requires good neighborly relations between Kosovo and Serbia. The highest European leaders asked Kosovo to establish the Association of Municipalities with a Serbian majority, while to Serbia, the de facto recognition of Kosovo./DW
