The Minister of Serbian Foreign Affairs, Ivica Dacic, trying to justify the statements of a few days ago where he said that Milan Radoicic was not part of the attack in the north of Kosovo, today stated that he was misinformed by the people close to him.
He added that it was his mistake and that he did not want to harm or justify anyone for his actions. Meanwhile, he emphasized that it is important for all Serbs to be aware that the events in Banjska are one of the most difficult situations since 2004.
" Someone told me it was an older video, I didn't check it. My mistake. I did not want to exonerate Radoicic. They first published pictures from Nagorno-Karabakh, so they mentioned the ones from Obraz ," said Dacic.
The Serbian minister also spoke about the risk of sanctions, according to him there is no real risk of imposing punitive measures against Serbia, which, according to unofficial information, are being requested by seven European Union states.
" There were no meetings where votes were taken and decisions were made, there were committee meetings where such things were mentioned in the discussions, but there was no official statement about this, nor was it an official initiative," said Dacic, reports Danas .
Dacic also reiterated that the number of members of the Armed Forces of Serbia in the administrative line of Kosovo is decreasing.
