The head of the Democratic Party Lulzim Basha has commented on the situation in the north of Kosovo. He said that Rama's personal protagonism and his relationship with Kurt has damaged Kosovo, especially in the international environment.
He also stated that Albania should be available to Kosovo in this difficult situation and should not be used as a bone of contention for internal political battles in Tirana.
"Albania should be available to Kosovo to offer everything that Kosovo needs in every field that it requires and not to do anything without coordination with Kosovo. Excessive protagonism, especially in the international environment, has damaged Kosovo. Therefore, personal protagonism must be put to an end. Kosovo needs Albania's help and should not be used as a bone of contention for internal political battles in Tirana. PD will do everything to be in the defense of Kosovo. But also let's show ourselves a sense of self-restraint so as not to turn Kosovo into a matter of internal political clashes in Tirana.
The National Interest of Albania and Kosovo is one and indivisible and in function of this national interest, and in function of this national interest every actor must put aside everything that their personal chemistry dictates, even when it is positive and not when this chemistry leaves something to be desired", said Basha for "Euronews Albania".
