US Assistant Secretary: USA supports Kosovo at every step!

The Assistant Secretary for the US Bureau of International Narcotics and Rule of Law, Todd D. Robinson, has expressed US support for Kosovo.

During a media conference with President Osmani, Robinson said that the fact that he is in Kosovo also shows his support for what Kosovo is doing.

He says that they are working for a better Kosovo today and for a stronger and more transparent Kosovo in the future.

"The fact that I am here to show our support for what you are doing, for what the police are doing, for what the security services are doing, for Kosovar citizens, I think is really important. My message to them and to all of you would be that the United States is here to support you in your efforts to build vital security institutions and structures of the judiciary, of justice. We are working for a better Kosovo today and for a stronger and more transparent Kosovo in the future. It is not the first time that I am in the Balkans, I have also worked in the region earlier. I feel like I'm back home and I welcome the opportunity to see even more of your country ," he said.

While Osmani, during her speech, thanked Robinson for his contribution to Kosovo.

"I just finished a very positive and meaningful meeting. As I emphasized in the meeting, Kosovo is deeply grateful for the support that the International Bureau for Narcotics and Rule of Law has offered to our institutions over the years. US support for Kosovo has been present in every strategic sector and in every step of our nation-building process.

Robinson has been among the people who have contributed over the years. He let me know how he worked with Secretary Albright. This is a proof of how many people there are even today in the American administration who have contributed for decades to Kosovo being where it is today. Of course, Ambassador Hovenier is among them ," Osmani said.
