"Russia will never forget that Kosovo is part of Serbia". This is what the spokeswoman of the Russian Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Maria Zakharova, said today.
During a conference, she said that the month of March is one of the most tragic in the history of Serbia, recalling what Belgrade politics calls "the massacre of Serbs on March 17, 2004" and NATO's intervention on March 24, 1999, which Moscow calls it "aggression against Serbia".
In this regard, today the Russian State Duma approved a draft speech regarding the 25th anniversary of the NATO bombing in the Federal Republic of Yugoslavia.
The text states that "the fact that the attack of the Alliance countries on Yugoslavia went unpunished created the preconditions for new military actions around the world under the guise of declarations about the struggle for the values of freedom and democracy".
On this topic, Zaharova continues the propaganda saying that "with the approval of Western patrons, the authorities in Pristina continue the policy of emigration of Serbs from Kosovo, questioning the survival of Serbian municipalities".
"Russia will never forget that Kosovo is part of Serbia", she declared, among other things.
Further, the spokeswoman of the Russian MFA emphasized that Russia will continue to support Belgrade in its legitimate demands for the protection of the rights of Serbs in Kosovo.
