The Minister of Internal Affairs of Kosovo, Xelal Sveçla, while today has been a month since the attack in Banjska, said that without the punishment of Serbia for that event, there can be no peace in the region.
" The leader of the September 24 attack, the main criminal and the closest associate of the President of Serbia, Milan Radojčić, even after admitting to participating and leading the attack after the publication of our evidence, was immediately released by the Serbian authorities and there is a refusal to surrender him to our justice authorities. To make matters worse, Serbia declared three days of mourning for the three terrorists who were neutralized by our police officers during the armed confrontation. These facts and not only, strongly prove that Serbia sponsors terrorism in the region with all its capacities" , said Sveçla.
Sveçla emphasized that with this attack, Serbia reconfirmed that its ambitions for the territory of Kosovo have not faded nor forgotten.
" On September 24, our Republic triumphed against the terror of Serbia. Without the sanctioning of Serbia and the punishment of September 24, the future is not clearly defined for peace and democracy in the region. Without the sanction of Serbia, in fact, such acts are stimulated that violate the integrity of the neighboring states. The hero Afrim Bunjaku, with his fall in confrontation with terrorist groups, protected our country and our citizens and exposed the criminality and terrorism sponsored by Serbia, which we have been saying for a long time", Sveçla concluded .
