The chairman of the Serbian Democracy Party, Aleksandar Arsenijevic, announced on social networks that he was attacked by a person, who first insulted him, and then tried to pull out his weapon.
The Serbian politician in North Mitrovica claims that this person, whose nationality is not made public, has shown signs of aggression towards him and other times.
"The moment he saw me, he started verbal attacks. He stated that he has nothing against me personally, but he has something against my politics and continued to threaten me that he would kill me" , he said.
Arsenijević is considered an opponent of the Serbian List in the north of Kosovo. He, together with his colleagues, has formed a civic movement called "Serbian Survival". The former chemistry professor has openly criticized the Serbian List supported by Belgrade, saying that it does not work for the citizens but for its own pockets.
"They want to hear our silence and not our voice", Arsenijević declared, who also harshly targeted Petar Petković, the head of the Serbian delegation in the Kosovo-Serbia dialogue, saying that "he is not from these parts and does not understand the problems ours" , he said.
