Vote recount in Kosovo

The recount of all votes from the December 28 elections has been completed, a process that began on January 13 following suspicions of manipulation of the votes of parliamentary candidates.

The recount did not change the seats of the deputies for the parties, but it did bring changes in the number of votes of the candidates.

The most changes were recorded in the list of the Democratic Party of Kosovo (PDK).

Nine candidates from this party lost more than 1,000 votes after the recount.

The list is headed by Fetah Paçarizi, who lost 6,869 votes, followed by Nait Hasani with 3,326 votes, Kujtim Gashi with 2,434 votes, Luljeta Veselaj-Gutaj with 2,118 votes, Arianit Çollaku with 1,673 votes, Fadil Demaku with 1,308 votes, Enver Hoxhaj with 1,237 votes, Xhavit Haliti with 1,167 votes and Gazmend Maliqaj with 1,034 votes.

In the Democratic League of Kosovo (LDK), two candidates lost more than 1,000 votes: Xhavit Uka from Prizren with 1,628 votes and Driton Selmanaj with 1,065 votes.

Meanwhile, in the Vetëvendosje Movement (LVV), Taulant Kelmendi lost 922 votes, followed by Arbër Rexhaj with 622 votes.
