The Anti-corruption Task Force in the Kosovo Police is currently investigating at least five ministers and one deputy minister of the Government of Albin Kurti.
The Minister of Finance, Hekuran Murati, is being investigated in connection with the case of damage to the teachers, who are suspected of illegally withholding their salaries during the strike.
A criminal report was filed for this case, which the Task Force is investigating. Minister Murati was invited by the Task Force to be interviewed by the investigator as a suspect, but he refused, requesting to be interviewed in his office. Task Force investigators have not accepted Murat's request.
How it will be done remains to be seen in the coming days.
The Minister of Foreign Affairs, Donika Gërvalla, is the other minister being investigated by the Task Force. She, together with the deputy minister Liza Gashi, are suspected of giving 1 million and 40 thousand euros to "Caritas Zviceran", where the latter has engaged the NGO Germin, in which Liza was a director before becoming deputy minister, to perform services. . So far, 344 thousand euros have been paid to Caritas.
The Minister of Local Government, Elbert Krasniqi, in a case that is being investigated by the Task Force, for abuse of office, because it is suspected that in a case where 300,000 euros were illegally spent on projects for minorities.
The Minister of Economy and Entrepreneurship, Rozeta Hajdari, is the next minister to be investigated by the Task Force, under the suspicion of misuse of official duties due to the misuse of state resources, namely in relation to the purchase of flour and oil, for which she was damaged the state budget.
The Minister of Culture, Hajrullah Çeku, together with several other senior officials of this ministry, has been interviewed by the Task Force, under the suspicion that this ministry has awarded a contract for consultancy over 130 thousand euros, where the consultant engaged as a local architect is paid 5 thousand 550 euros per month.
Even the Ministry of Infrastructure led by Liburn Aliu has not been left uninvestigated by the Anti-corruption Task Force. In this ministry, Deputy Minister Hysen Durmishi is being investigated, in relation to the ticket tender, for which, after signing, he was withdrawn.
For all these cases, the "Oath of Justice" has also contacted the Kurti II Government, but the latter have not returned any response. / Telegraph
