The initial hearing of the four defendants in the murder of Liridona Ademaj is underway at the Basic Court in Pristina. The hearing was scheduled for January 27, but was interrupted shortly after it began because the lawyers for the two defendants said they had not received the case files in time.
During the initial hearing, the Prosecution read the indictment against the four defendants. It states that Naim Murseli had promised 30,000 compensation for the murder of his wife, Liridona, and had even held her with one hand so that she would not dodge the bullet.
Speaking about the part of the indictment against Naim Murseli, prosecutor Javorka Përlinçević said that Murseli had planned to kill Liridona out of anger and as a sign of revenge, as the couple had had " disordered family and marital relations."
The prosecution said that on June 25, 2022, a life insurance policy for Liridona was paid in the amount of 3,000,000 Swedish kronor so that after her death, Naim Murseli would benefit from this insurance.
The prosecution said that Naimi disclosed his plan to the accused Kushtrim Kokalla, to murder his wife, and asked him to find ways to carry it out.
Later, according to the Prosecution, Granit Plava was involved in this case and the three agreed that Plava would commit the murder and Mursel would compensate him with an amount of 30 thousand euros.
Meanwhile, Tom Dodajt's involvement occurred on November 29, 2023, when Mursel purchased a pistol and 20 cartridges from him, worth 280 euros, the weapon that was used to murder Liridona.
The murder, the Prosecution said, was committed between 19:00 and 20:18, at a location agreed upon between the three defendants, staged in that manner in order to make it look like a robbery.
"...Naimi cunningly held Liridona's left arm with his right hand, so that she would not dodge the bullet, after which Naimi and the children got out of the car and left the scene," the Prosecution said.
