While the resignation of Serbian Prime Minister Miloš Vučević is being discussed, President Vučević has given a press conference to explain what will happen now after Vučević's resignation.
Esmeralda Mulaj, journalist and moderator, has provided more details regarding the President's statement as well as the fact that Serbia is already in a crisis.
In her view, Mulaj indicates whether there is a possibility that in such a situation, Vučić would seek to destabilize Northern Kosovo to divert attention from the protests in Serbia.
"In northern Kosovo it is a little more difficult for something like this to happen, but I think the most dangerous and most exposed area right now is North Macedonia."
"Yesterday, a holiday was celebrated by the Serbian Orthodox, and the President of the Republika Srpska Milorad Dodik, the Speaker of the Parliament of Montenegro, the Deputy Prime Minister of North Macedonia, the head of the Serbian Orthodox Church, so they gathered in Macedonia and made a propaganda. This shows that the goal is North Macedonia after they did not succeed with Montenegro. Macedonia also has a clash with the Albanians, where the Albanian language is being discussed as not being allowed," Mulaj added to Euronews Albania.
It shows that there are 200 more army troops in northern Kosovo and there is a lower probability of being attacked by Serbia.
"Measures have been taken in Northern Kosovo. KFOR troops are there, they were increased by 200 more on the eve of the elections. The risk is there, and it could happen, but they do not have the greatest potential in Northern Kosovo, because there is already increased vigilance," said Esmeralda Mulaj.
