The two suspects for the murder of Vjosa Osman's husband's uncle have been remanded for 1 month.
The defense lawyer of the suspects, Arben Isufi, told the media that they have been protected in silence, while the motives of the criminal offense are still unknown.
"The prosecution's request for the appointment of detention has been reviewed. We have made the objections on the claims for the motive of the criminal offense. They have been protected in silence," he said.
The serious incident happened on Friday in the village of Bibaj in the Municipality of Ferizaj, where a person was killed in the parking lot of the "Fron Palace" wedding hall, while a wedding was being held inside.
Kosovo media report that the victim is the uncle of the husband of the President of Kosovo, Vjosa Osmani.
The suspected author of this event is police official Festim Ramadani, who shot the 89-year-old several times. The media in Kosovo report that the cause of the elderly man's murder was the abuse of the author's two sisters, when they were only 10 years old.
The victim was the husband of their aunt and had sheltered the Ramadani family during the war in Kosovo, when sexual abuse also occurred.
According to the same sources, Festim Ramadani's family members were angry with the justice authorities who had been informed about the event, but so far no decision had been made.
