President Osmani will travel to Brussels, where I will represent Kosovo at the summit of the leaders of the European Union and the Western Balkans. Osmani was invited by the President of the European Council, Charles Michel.
" At the meeting of the leaders of the EU and the Western Balkans, President Osmani will discuss the need to speed up the integration process in light of the ongoing security challenges in the region and beyond, starting with support for the country's candidate status for the Republic of Kosovo ", it is stated in the announcement of the Presidency.
Leaders of the EU and the Western Balkans will meet tomorrow in Brussels, where, among other things, they will discuss the enlargement process and the European perspective of the countries of the Western Balkans, coordination with the EU's common foreign and security policy, as well as overcoming common challenges.
In the framework of the summit, Osmani will also inform the heads of state and the EU regarding the security situation in the country, after the attack of Serbia's aggression on September 24.
