Grenade explosion in Mitrovica

Two bars and a shop were damaged this morning in southern Mitrovica, as a result of an explosive substance.

It is suspected that a hand grenade exploded in the business premises located in the center of the city around 03:20. The news was confirmed by the spokesperson of the Kosovo Police for the Mitrovica Region, Avni Zahiti.

"Around 03:20, it was reported that in 'Adem Jashari' square, as a result of an explosion, the windows of two cafes and a shop were damaged. Apart from material damage, no injuries were reported."

The police spokesman also added that the case is being investigated by the relevant authorities, while no injuries have been reported.
