The Minister of Internal Affairs, Xelal Svečla, has accused the President of Serbia, Aleksandar Vučić, saying that the throwing of a military grenade yesterday in the North of the country was on his orders.
In a post on social networks, he says that the criminal act was done as a sign of revolt for the three arrested for war crimes.
" The inspiration, support and order for this criminal act came from the former Minister of Propaganda at the time of Milosevic, Aleksandër Vucic. Serbia committed genocide in Kosovo. Serbia, led by Vučić, not only does not accept this fact, but glorifies war criminals. The proof of her unchanged attitude is the very planning of the act of throwing the grenade", Sveçla wrote.
Full statement:
The crimes committed during the war in Kosovo will be pursued to the end, while the throwing of military hand grenades by criminal groups cannot deter justice.
From the relevant units of the Kosovo Police, after a long engagement and with well-founded suspicions, 3 Serbian citizens have been arrested for crimes committed against the civilian population during the war in Kosovo. The same are suspected to have been accomplices in torture, wounding, murder, deportation, and massacres against Albanians in Vushtrri, its surrounding villages and in Smrekovnica Prison.
As a sign of revolt against the arrest of these persons, as a message to our justice and with the aim of causing terror to our citizens, last night criminal groups threw military hand grenades in the Bosnian Quarter.
The inspiration, support and order for this criminal act came from the former Minister of Propaganda at the time of Milosevic, Aleksandër Vucic. Serbia committed genocide in Kosovo. Serbia, led by Vucic, not only does not accept this fact, but glorifies war criminals. The proof of her unchanged attitude is the very planning of the act of throwing the grenade.
Kosovo will be a state of law, of equal citizens where equality and prosperity will be guaranteed for all.
