Today is Kurti's last chance, LDK leader reacts: The country is heading
LDK Chairman, Lumir Abdixhiku

Albin Kurti today has the last day according to the mandate he received from Vjosa Osmani to present his governing cabinet and the governing program in the role of prime minister for the formation of the new government.

But Kosovo is heading towards extraordinary elections for the leader of the LDK, Lumir Abdixhiku.

Entering the Kosovo Assembly, where a vote is expected to be held to elect a new government, he said that "today the great curtain of Kurti's deception will fall." According to him, in today's session, he must prove that he has the necessary majority of 61 deputies.

The LDK leader said that good deeds should not be left to last, so he expects only a populist show in today's session.

Speaking about the possibility of any of the LDK MPs voting for the Kurti III government, he said that they are free to vote as they wish, but, based on their statements, they do not vote without a political agreement.

"Today the great curtain falls on the eight-month deception. In this deception we have been repeatedly told that the numbers for the government are there, there is a majority and that the will of the people of Kosovo is being blocked. Now is the opportunity to see the truth before the people of Kosovo. Today we are not voting on an ordinary law, but the mandate holder must present the majority that is the essence of Kosovo's democracy. Kosovo's institutions should be formed on this majority. To form this majority, the one who comes first in the elections should make an effort with every political party to form a majority. At the very least, he should leave this for the last day. The last day is a populist show, as is usual so far... LDK MPs are free to vote as they think. So far, each of them has declared that without a political agreement there is no point in being a majority," he said.

Regarding the possibility of former opposition parties forming a government, Abdixhiku said that there is no parliamentary majority in Kosovo, so the country is heading towards extraordinary elections.
